Contact Forms: We ask for your name, email address and the message you choose to send.
Analytics & Pixels: Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Meta Pixel record non-identifying details such as device type, browser, pages visited, time on page, referring site and general location (city or region).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use contact-form details to reply to your inquiries, schedule sessions and keep internal records.
Aggregated analytics data helps us understand traffic patterns, improve content, maintain security and measure marketing performance.
Personal information is never sold, rented, or traded to third parties.

3. Form Handling & Storage

Submissions travel through SSL-encrypted connections and reach only the intended therapist and a communication administrator. Copies are stored in our secure database for up to 24 months before permanent deletion. Access is limited to authorized staff.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Analytics and marketing tools place cookies or similar technologies on your device. These track usage statistics so we can improve the Site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings or install Google’s opt-out add-on to block Analytics.

5. Third-Party Services

Appointments and telehealth sessions are managed through Jane Software Inc. Their privacy practices are outlined in Jane’s own policy, which is separate from ours. External links may appear on the Site; we are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards—SSL encryption, strong passwords, limited access controls and regular software updates—to protect your information. While no internet transmission is completely secure, we work hard to minimize risk.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you (subject to legal or ethical retention requirements). You may also withdraw consent for future communications. Please email info@firesidepsychotherapy.ca to exercise these rights.
